The Path Of Infinity

“Infinite time, infinite space, infinite love, infinite grace.” I chant these words as I follow the curving path of the infinity labyrinth. Each step slow, I savor the journey, my body resonating with the frequency of my monotone mantra. My bare feet connect with soft grass and the occasional prickle of pine needles. Embraced by surrounding trees, I feel a sense of sanctuary and am alive with earth energy.

The infinity labyrinth, shaped like a figure-eight, has a single path with two points of entry. It can be walked as though it has an entrance and an exit.

As I pass through the exit, I prefer to remain in the flow of my journey by following the curve back around to the entrance. Here, I can choose to continue through the labyrinth over and over again until I am one with the journey and feel tranquil and fulfilled.

Infinity is a mathematical, philosophical, cosmological, and spiritual concept, defined as unbounded, limitless, never-ending, and eternal. An unbounded set of numbers, a limitless universe, the never-ending nature of time, an eternal experience of the divine…all are expressions of infinity that can fill us with a sense of mystery.

When I am fully present, each moment feels infinite. Walking the infinity labyrinth in a continuous circuit while repeating a mantra, I am lost in the moment, experiencing eternity.
